Class of 2006 Shines at Cahaba-Que: A Proud Moment in Our First 2024 Outreach!

We are thrilled to share that our Class of 2006 recently made a significant impact at the Annual Cahaba-Que event, held at Cahaba Brewery on October 12, 2024. As the second largest volunteer group participating, we played a pivotal role in supporting an incredible cause: raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

This was our first community outreach event of 2024, and what a way to kick things off! Our volunteers worked tirelessly at the Entry and Merch Tents, ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees. Cahaba-Que, a semiannual BBQ cook-off, features a competition between backyard grillers and professionals alike. Guests were treated to all-you-can-eat BBQ samples and voted for their favorites while enjoying local craft beer and live music—all in the name of a great cause, right here in Alabama.

We are immensely proud of everyone who volunteered and represented our class. Your dedication and teamwork helped make this event a success! Together, we’re making a real difference in our community.
